CTSC was in attendance at the Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association, held Friday, April 8, 2016 to Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Washington DC.
The AERA Annual Meeting represented the largest gathering of scholars in the field of educational research. We were excited to announce that CTSC's own--Dr. Ellen B. Meier, Joanne Beckwith, Dr. Sharmin Hakim, Dr. Dawn Horton, Caron Mineo, Dr. Rita Sánchez, Alexandra Thomas, and Jessica Yusaitis Pike—presented papers on the topics of facilitating professional learning for STEM, advancing data-driven instruction, preparing mathematics teachers, and exploring opportunities for media literacy.
