Computing in Education – Online
Teachers College offers a fully online intensive version of its M.A. Program in Computing in Education. The Online M.A. focuses on the subset of students in the Computing in Education program who teach in K-12 schools or who have an interest in working with technology in schools. All courses needed to complete the degree are offered online. Students engage in course work through different combinations of asynchronous discussion forums and web video meetings. Courses in this program emphasize inquiry, reflection, active project work, and interaction between students and between students and instructors.
Students in the M.A. Program in Computing in Education also have the option of attending face-to-face classes in Teachers College in July. This allows students to work with faculty in person, collaborate with other students, and see New York City. For more information and overview of program requirements, please visit the program site.
